Paris Hilton goes from chav to prom queen as she shows off five outfits in 24 hours

Paris Hilton is nothing if not versatile. The heiress hit the set of David Letterman looking like a polished prom queen in a stylish citrus dress. The night before, she was spotted leaving LA airport dressed as a tracksuit-clad chav.

We all know Kate Moss flirted with the Vicky Pollard look and, pitching up at JFK, Paris Hilton seems to be vying for Chav Of The Year, too. I half expected her to go straight to duty-free for 20 Lambert & Butler. White-gold lacquered hair, oversized white plastic glasses, absurd headgear... Paris works the chav chic look with ease.

Burberry is a brand which has had more than a few ups and downs over its 150 years. It is instantly known for its caramel-coloured check pattern which almost became the company’s downfall when in 2004 EastEnders actress Daniella Westbrook was photographed wearing head-to-toe Burberry check items. If that wasn't bad enough, her infant daughter was also kitted out in matching togs. It was a PR disaster for the company which was already struggling to redeem itself from the chav Burberry cap problem. The problem started when they began covering small less expensive items such as hats and scarves with check which led to the brand being devalued when every john, dick and harry had one.

Acne Paper Issue 10 /For the Party People, By the Party People

Thurs, June 3, 2010 Acne partied in the name of partying, which, as their 10th, "legendary parties"-themed Issue proves, is totally reason enough! The fete was held the Carlyle, New York’s ever-present host to some of the Upper East Side’s most famous minglers, as mused upon by several contributors in this issue of Acne Paper. Guests took to the Royal Suite to toast to the swanky Swedes, and did exactly what the issue praises: creative friends getting together to let ideas fly with the generous help of cocktails.
